2. Wide range of applications and substrates. Flexo printing can print almost all the printed matter and use all the substrate. Especially in the packaging and printing of corrugated paper printing has its own characteristics

1. There are understanding and specific problems: after the 1970s, the technology of flexographic printing has matured and developed rapidly in the world. At that time, China was fully advocating the development of offset printing. The development of offset printing is undoubtedly correct, but there is little publicity about flexo printing, and many people in China know little about flexo printing. In addition, printing workers know little about flexo printing process. Therefore, in the 1980s, imported flexo printing machines really played a full role in very few. In the middle and late 1990s, China introduced more foreign flexo printing machines. At the same time, the flexo printing machines developed by China are gradually mature. However, due to the poor grasp of the printing process, the flexo printing machines selected by some users are not suitable for the prints they are preparing to print

2. Domestic localized production of flexographic plates and raw and auxiliary materials has a long way to go: at present, most of them still rely on imports. This is an important reason to increase the cost of flexo printing

3. unreasonable requirements for flexo printing: at present, domestic flexo printing machines, whether imported or domestic, are basically medium and low-grade products. In addition, the domestic flexo printing process is still not completely qualified, and its prints are of course medium and low-grade. Many people compare these prints with higher-grade offset and gravure prints, which is unreasonable. Foreign experience has already proved that flexo printing can print high-end prints. However, there must be corresponding equipment, plates, raw and auxiliary materials, mature technology and high-level operators

Select appropriate equipment and printing materials: flexo printing can not only give full play to its strengths in the field of packaging printing, but also play a full role in the printing of books, periodicals and newspapers. Flexographic printing has its uniqueness in packaging printing, and has formed a consensus in the printing industry. In packaging printing, corrugated paper printing can fully develop flexo printing. 85-98% of the corrugated board in foreign countries is printed on flexo printing machines. Label printing is also the strength of flexographic printing. In developed countries, the proportion of flexographic printing reaches 85-90%, and it is also developing rapidly in China. Flexible packaging printing is the main competitive place of flexo printing and gravure printing, and the development of various countries is also different. There is competition among offset printing, flexo printing and gravure printing in carton printing. Flexo printing in the United States is 30-40%, and the development situation in different countries is different. Flexographic printing should be used first among the most suitable flexographic printing products, and the most suitable flexographic printing machine should be selected according to the specific requirements of these products
