Teijin company produces and distributes eco derived PET fiber

Teijin Fiber Co., Ltd. is the core company of the polyester fiber industry of Teijin group. The company announced on the 10th that it will start the full production and distribution of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fiber in the new factory in 2012

this newly named ecological recycling plant fiber can also be obtained as a week-long textile fabric, and will become the core ecological material of Diren fiber company, used in clothing, car seats and interior upholstery to personal hygiene products. Teijin fiber company expects to sell 30000 tons of eco cycle plant fiber products in the initial fiscal year ending in March 2013 and 70000 tons in the third year

according to Teijin, 30% of the lubrication effect of ecological recycling plant fibers on concrete pressure testing machines is extracted from eco fuel derivative products, such as sugarcane. Traditional pet is made from polyethylene glycol (eg) and dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) or purified terephthalic acid, and polyethylene glycol accounts for about 30%. In the ecological cycle of plant fibers, polyethylene glycol is an ecological derivative, not a petroleum derivative, so it can help conserve fossil resources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Eco recycled plant fibers have the same characteristics and quality as petroleum derived pet, so they are suitable for use in many polyester products, the company said in a statement today

Lilians' R & D center in Nanjing has been put into operation, and ecological recycling plant fibers can also be recycled in Diren fibers. The fiber position outside the ecological cycle is generally in the polyester cycle system. Polyester is a chemical that can be decomposed at the molecular level in a week, which can be recycled as a new DMT in a week, and can provide the same purity and quality as petroleum derivatives, Teijin said
