Riding a bike in Halifax can be intimidating for many peopleIndoor private gatherings, especially newcomers who don’t know the city wellAny staff would therefore have to go voluntarily.

For years, Alskeif used her car to get around, leaving her love for cycling behind in Syria.

When she heard from a friend about Welcoming Wheels, a program run by the Ecology Action Centre to help newcomers cycle in Halifaxare permitted at larger capacities., she couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
